Miniature Pinschers
Min pins originally came from Germany. The
normal height is 10 to 12 inches at the shoulder, however their size
can vary greatly. A typical min pin can weigh from 6 to 16 pounds
and sometimes even more. The most common colors are black and tan,
black and rust, red or chocolate ( brown ) and tan. Miniature pinschers
have a short coat that requires very little grooming. They should
be bathed and brushed periodically. They love to learn and obey commands
fairly quickly. They do not tolerate the cold and should never be
left in an unheated area. Their activity needs are moderate. They
need regular opportunities to run and play.
